Although a different form of fencing from our own, a number of sports fencers will be engaging in a fencing marathon for charity this weekend in London, Sponsored by Leon Paul.

The Hartlepool Maritime Experience are hosting another pirate weekend and the Durham SSS Chapter will be there!
It’s going to be a fantastic day for the family.
With a Peter Pan theme, opening at 11am and on till 4pm on Saturday the 31st of March.

The Durham chapter of the SSS were asked to demonstrate historical swordplay on the quay of Hartlepool Marina as a part of their Pirate Weekend. Having all our own Pirate gear, we couldn’t pass up the opportunity.

SWASH 2011 was held in Leeds Royal Armouries as it has been for the last 5 years. The event is a global gathering of likeminded western martial artist, with classes, lectures, tournaments and the traditional gala diner, held in the war rooms of the Armouries.
